San Francisco residents:How did your city become so popular with gays & lesbians?

ive been living out here all my life, um i think the reason why the Bay Area is so popular with gays is because we arent as judgemental as maybe other areas..overall the youth here appreciates people that can be themselves and dont really trip off lil things such as orientation to define somebody as a person
