Replacing pick ups on epi lespaul?

What do you recommend i was thinking a super distortion dp 100 then maybe some sort of strat pick up (there is a part you can get for like 5 bucs to make it fit) i need some pick ups that wont sound too muddy with distortion. im looking for maybe a jack white interaction when adding gain OD or distortion
