Black ops combat training?

I've had the game since Christmas and i still suck at it, I always get shot from the back, and I always lose gun fights, i could be using a scorpion in a CQB fight and lose to a mac11, wtf??? How do i get better aim, I play combat training on hardened everyday when i first log on live, and it helps and all but not by much, is playing recruit better, it seems to slow to me, and the bots are dumb on there, btw i always at least get 100 or more points in hardened nuketown, i kind of camp a lot in CT, what can i do, and if it helps my KD is 1.20, my accuracy is about 14.46, and I play alone.
