College majors and minors?

one day i want to work for a federal law enforcement branch such as the FBI or US Marshals. My dad is a US Marshal and majored in accounting. I dont think id be interested in that though. I was wondering if a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Computer Science would be something a federal agency would look for or prefer. I also plan to get some experience first as a county officer before applying to a federal agency. Im only 16 right now though but i have always wanted to be an officer of some sort. My dad, uncle, and great granddad were all some sort of law enforcement officers.
