Is it insanity to blow an 800 billion dollar hole in the budget with tax cuts then expect 100 billion in cuts?

All economists do not agree on this. And if you want to have a positive effect on the deficit, you have to do BOTH. Tax cuts and reduce spending. There is a lot of useless spending that goes on that is nothing more than political payoffs that benefits ONLY the organization that cozied up to the politician for it. Are you willing to keep paying for that nonsense? Do you remember the millions that went into the SIGNS alone for the stimulus? That didn't create jobs--it created another crater.
