Pitocin Induction...?

I am due to be induced next Saturday because my husband is leaving for basic/AIT training w/ the National Guard on the 11th and my doctors and myself wanted to be sure that he would be able to meet our Princess before he leaves. He will be gone for 16 weeks and 4 days so it's going to be a toughy :( But my actual question is, is it going to be more painful than going into labor naturally? I see it as medicine forcing your body to do something that it wasn't exactly ready to do...I'm probably just over thinking it :) As the day nears, I'm getting a little more freaked out lol I wanted to try to have a natural birth since I did the epi with my son and it only took on one side and I was still miserable, but I'm leaning more towrds the epi again now!
